Volunteers & Mentors: Faith Community

Faith Community

The Covenant House Faith Community is a community of volunteers who come together to serve God by working with the young people of Covenant House. This 13-month volunteer experience is an opportunity for volunteers to develop spiritually, and strengthen their relationship with God by daily prayer/reflection, living in community, and working with the homeless and runaway youth of Covenant House.  We honor our roots in the Catholic tradition, and we invite people of diverse faiths and spiritual traditions to join our mission to serve homeless youth.  Community is presently located in three Covenant House sites in the United States: New York City, Atlantic City, and Fort Lauderdale, and also in Vancouver, Canada.
