November 3, 2006 -- Covenant House Youth Show Off Their Talents in Fashion and Music
 On November 2, 2006, the young people of Covenant House New York, thanks to the Mentoring Department, had the ability to take center stage for an evening with a fashion/talent show.
With more than 150 people in attendance, the young people displayed an array of talents ranging from singing original songs to working the runaway with fashionable outfits. The show also was lucky to have many infants and toddlers in the show, display their talents while walking down the runaway. It was evident that they had an incredible time. Musical performances from three youth in particular - Jessica Davis, Dwalyn Blake, and Devin Snow –inspired all in attendance with lyrics of hope, determination, and desire. The evening was a huge success, accomplishing its goal of having the young people perform and show off their hidden talents. Overall, the young people of Covenant House New York impressed everyone in attendance with their desire and determination to accomplish their goals while having a good time.
