On December 13, 2005, Covenant House New York held its second senior citizen luncheon at its 41st street facility. The residents of Project Find Senior Citizen Home, located in Hell’s Kitchen, were Covenant House’s guests. The food was prepared by our kitchen staff and was served to the seniors by a group of Covenant House youth. Bruce J. Henry, Executive Director of Covenant House, welcomed everyone and expressed his joy that Covenant House was able to spend the afternoon with members of the community. Overall the day was a huge success with each senior receiving a bag of groceries to take back with them.
