On November 16, 2005, Covenant House New York held its annual senior luncheon at its Rights of Passage facility at 346 West 17th Street. Starting at noon, over 300 senior citizens enjoyed a terrific Thanksgiving lunch prepared by Covenant House’s kitchen staff. The senior citizens were able to spend quality time with one another while the youth of Covenant House New York served the meals. This event is special to Covenant House because it allows the organization to give back to the community that has been so generous and welcoming to our youth. We would like to thank everyone who attended this event and give a special thanks to all the youth from Covenant House that helped serve the meals. From everyone here at Covenant House, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
