KywanaKywana, along with her older sister, has been at Covenant House New York (CHNY) since February 2008. On April 9th at the ‘Spring Cleaning’ event, Kywana shared her story, letting everyone know the reasons that brought her to CHNY. Here is her story:

Each year, Covenant House New York must raise (privately) 70% of its annual budget to ensure that our young people receive the needed services to gain independence. With the cost of living increasing each year (i.e. food, electricity, and gas), we must find new ways to branch out to donors while exploring new fundraising events.
